Anki DRIVE was introduced in 2013 and started shipping in 2014.
Anki DRIVE was Anki’s first product and we are very proud of its achievements. The introduction of the exciting battle-racing concept as well as vehicles with their own characters gave us many insights into the growing capabilities of AI and robotics. Since then, Anki DRIVE has brought endless fun and excitement into thousands of living rooms in the US, UK, and Canada.
After 4 years, the time has come to focus on our more recent and future product ranges and we will have to stop our active support for Anki DRIVE from November 17, 2017 onwards.
- Actively maintain or evolve the Anki DRIVE app or provide any support for device compatibility.
- Offer any active technical support for the Anki DRIVE app or any related hardware. Instead, our Help Center will provide answers to the most common questions through part of 2018.
- Provide any Anki DRIVE replacement tire cleaners
- Provide any Anki DRIVE replacement tires after December 31, 2017 (or possibly earlier, if the remaining stock is depleted).
Please keep in mind that you will still be able to use your Anki DRIVE cars and track mat(s) in combination with the Anki OVERDRIVE app and an OVERDRIVE Starter Kit. You can find more information about this here.
Any Anki DRIVE customers that require support and are still within their warranty period can contact us via our Submit a Request form. Just select the “Warranty Question” option. Please be advised that a copy of the original purchase receipt needs to be attached to your request in order for us to handle your query.
